Delivery - UK Orders
For UK orders, we use Royal Mail 1st and 2nd class. We dispatch orders from Monday to Saturday, excluding bank holidays. We make every effort to ship your items as soon as possible, with standard processing times ranging from 1 to 5 working days.
You will receive an automated shipping confirmation email once your order leaves our facility.
UK Customers
Orders sent via 1st Class typically arrive within 1-2 working days.
Orders sent via 2nd Class typically arrive within 2-3 working days.
The risk associated with the delivery of goods passes to you when we begin supply or transportation to you, or, if you don't accept supply on the delivery date, to temporary storage organised by us or the postal/courier service making the delivery.
We are not responsible for any selected service's failure to meet indicated delivery times, provided that items are dispatched on time in accordance with our service commitment. During busy periods, such as the holiday season, deliveries may take longer than specified, which is beyond our control. We cannot be held liable for issues related to delayed order receipt if orders were dispatched on time and in good faith using the specified delivery method.
Payment - UK Orders
We accept payment by credit and debit cards.
Credit and debit card payments are processed by our online payment providers, Stripe or PayPal.
Changes to Your Order
If you need to make changes to your order, please contact us as soon as possible. Once your order has been processed, changes cannot be made.
Stock Shortages
If we lack sufficient stock to fulfill your order, we will email you with options. You can choose to back-order the requested items, accept partial delivery, or cancel the order. Please note that it may take between 10 and 60 days to restock certain items from our overseas suppliers.

What to Do If You Receive Damaged Goods
If you suspect any faults with your received items, please inform us promptly by emailing us at contact@treadbarefoot.co.uk. To assist in addressing your query, include a fault description, your original order number (or order name and date), and photographs showing the problem area. Ensure that the photos display:
- The shoe's inside with the label
- Side profile of the shoes
- Outer sole of the shoes
- Close-up photos of the fault and the entire shoe
After receiving this information, we will consult the manufacturer on your behalf and, in the case of a genuine fault, offer to repair or replace the shoes. If a repair or replacement is not possible, a credit or refund will be issued.
Please note that manufacturing defects usually become evident immediately or within the first couple of months of wear. After prolonged use, it becomes challenging to distinguish between excessive wear and tear and genuine shoe issues.
Refunds
We will reimburse you for the shoe cost using the same payment method you used for the purchase. Unfortunately, we cannot refund the original shipping charges. According to Consumer Contract Regulations, if you wish to return your entire order and reclaim the original postage cost (standard postage only), return the goods at your expense. We will provide a full refund, including our standard 2nd class postage charge, as promptly as possible, within 14 working days of receiving the goods. We will notify you by email once your refund has been processed.
Cancellation
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order without penalty within 14 days of the order date. Following this cancellation, you have an additional 14 days to return the items for a refund. To exercise this right, inform us in writing; simply returning the items does not constitute cancelling the order. In this case, you are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the goods. If we are unable to deliver the goods to you (e.g., due to insufficient stock or items not suitable for Royal Mail postage), we may cancel your order and attempt to offer an alternative.
